Anyone know where I can get new wheel emblems?

I don't know if it fell off or if someone pried them off (looks like fresh pry marks on the wheel), but I am suddenly missing one of the emblems on my anniversary wheels. The others are on there pretty tight.

Anyone have a source where I can get these? I'm sure they are not cheap.

They sometimes fall off, I had a set like that and one fell off, luckily it was when I was washing the car. When I checked the others one other one was very loose.

You can get replacements from eBay or watch for used sets to come for sale, or $$$ for new ones....

Anywhere but the dealership. Even though I bought my 986S used (9 months old, with 6k miles) I have the window sticker. Porsche priced them at $150. For pieces of plastic with a painted crest in the middle! Laminated under a clear plastic film. I was offended by the price.

Over time they had aged, water had gotten in behind the protective film. I bought a replacment set at the Hershey swap meet, in metal. You can find every price and value point on ebay. I'd recomend that over dealer prices for cheap pieces of plastic

Seems like Pelican has them:

Only problem is mine are dark gray instead of silver. I guess I could pry off the emblem and epoxy it onto the hub.

Same thing...

...happened on my 550 SE. I bought some Seal Gray with color badges caps off eBay and they have been on the car for about eight moths and so far, so good. Cost about $15 for a set of four.

Thanks for that...I can't seem to find any decent ones on EB. You wouldn't have a link would you?

I use the all plastic eBay ones, so I have eight with the metal emblems just taking up space (currently in a USPS Priority mail box). None are perfect, but some of the emblems look very good. I've had them listed in in the classified section for a while. Been a while and no offers.... Maybe you can find my ad. I never 'bumped' it.

They are hard to find on eBay. I finally found some by excluding the word "Porsche" and using some of the other common terms:

I'll probably just give mine to my 5 year old grandson.

I don't even need them but I'm ordering the 19.99 ones because I'm still mad at the tire shop guys for losing my Porsche crest valve stem caps (FREE Item). I will clear-coat them before I install.

...then this shows when I check out:

How long ago was that? I haven't been able to find the black ones with the black and silver monochrome crests on eBay for a long time. The free valve stem caps would be nice, too.

That was about a year ago. I can't find the FREE valve stem caps at the moment.
It seems they come and go, my old seller doesn't have them. Here's a seller that is vending the center caps at the moment. Hong Kong and low feedback:

I'm going to get a bunch of red S's and stick them all over my '99s

"CENTRE caps..."
Great, nobody is going to buy my old OEM ones now....

Ah sorry, didn't know you wanted valve caps as well, not free but...

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Car-stying-4pcs-Car-Wheel-Tire-Valves-Tyre-Stem-Air-Caps-Cover-case-for-Porsche-Cayenne/32724173370.html?

...still cheaper

Pretty sure these all just come out of the same Chinese factory anyway, although I did buy some centre caps from a different seller and they weren't as good, the printing was slightly off and the silver didn't quite match my wheels, maybe they were selling on the rejects?

I have the Chinesium center caps (with valve stem caps, too!). Honestly the quality is very good, especially considering the price. Not like people will be getting within a few inches of the cap on a regular basis (aside from owners washing wheels).

I have a set on both Porsches.

Lost two emblems and replaced all four, before installing I put a small pop rivet with a washer behind it in one of the holes you can use to remove cap, I think that the glue used to hold emblems on cap dries up, this should fix that.

As a word of warning, let me tell you about an experience I had with Ali Express:

I ordered a drone battery/charger through them. The ad had a picture of the battery that I needed. When the package arrived it contained a charger, but no battery. I contacted the vendor who replied that I had received what I had ordered. I then contacted Ali Express using their dispute mechanism and all they did was ape the vendor's response. Fortunately I had paid by credit card and then disputed the charge. I had to provide extensive documentation to Chase, but they sided with me, Otherwise I would have ended up with a useless charger and out a fair chunk of money.

I have several times had fraud on my credit cards after having purchased items from Chinese vendors.

Buyer beware!

@madmac - yeah if you look in the reviews there's an image of them, look the same as the ones in the 'free' ebay ones. Seems like they are wary of posting vendor logos in the ads though.

@Anker - All I can say is I regularly buy stuff from China via AliExpress, Bangood and Fasttech, and haven't had any issues, other than really slow delivery of course. Never had anything not arrive, have had stuff replaced for free by vendors that arrive broken, and have got a few items completely free when they arrive after the delivery cutoff. Haven't had any issues with card fraud either. Don't want to sound like an ad, just my experience To be fair though, sometimes the actual product is crap, but then what can you expect for the price, I wouldn't buy anything 'important' on there! Dunno, maybe they target/handle US cards differently or something?

ps. I've just bought a set of the caps for fun, think I can afford to splash $2 for science... will let you know what arrives!

I bought a really cheap set of plastic ones off of eBay and I thought the quality was pretty decent for what I paid.

Just an update, I got the AliExpress valve caps in the post today (16 days delivery). They sure aren't OEM quality but they fit and they have a porsche logo on them, for $2 a set what more can you expect?
