Boxster Christmas Presents!

Merry Christmas!

Santa delivered two Boxster related gifts last night. A Porsche ski rack for my Roof Transport System, and a new phone cradle. I am extremely pleased with the way the cradle turned out, it is from ProClip and fits nicely without blocking anything, including the shifter. I also replaced the trim piece it clips onto, because it does clamp tightly and will leave a mark on the leatherette.

Did any other Boxsters get a visit from Santa?

Silver hood crest to match my new silver airbag crest.
(The black smudges on the Stuttgart crest are just reflections...this thing is shiny!)

Well it wouldn't be Christmas without socks but at least they were Porsche socks! And a Porsche polo shirt

Not exactly Boxster related, but I received this framed print of the 911 design patent for my home office...

A friend of mine dropped this off this morning, he got a new bumper or something and gave me this fiberglass bumper lip. I may mount as-is and see how it looks, if it is arctic silver it will match my hardtop and numbers. His boxster is seal grey though...

Well, I'll bite:

MaxiDiag Elite 802 - I have more than one car that I need to use the scanner on and this seemed the best choice
Snell 2015 compliant helmet
PCA Boxster Register T shirt
2004 Boxster and Boxster S sales brochure
Persmission to spend money on DE

Santa was really good to me (I was really generous for her recent birthday)

One more noteworthy gift - Excellence Was Expected. This is the original 1977 first edition, not the updated 3-volume second edition from 2005, so it only covers cars thru the 928 era.

For those of you not aware, this is basically the Porsche history bible.

I got a 917, a Cayman GT4, a Porsche 550 book, as well as an original Volume 01 of the new 'Porsche Originale' catalog. I'm told they are pretty rare and not even for sale. I haven't even opened it yet...I'm afraid to break the seal.

^ I saw the Porsche Originale on Suncoast, I think they had 10 of them for a day or so. I'm still not sure what it even is.

My brother and sister-in-law gave me a replica of my CSS. Not sure what the scale is, but it's approx. 4" long. Other than the turbo wheels, it's an exact replica. The color doesn't translate in the photo, but that's similar to my real CSS.
