2. While replacing the pump, check the aluminum block for impeller damage.

4. Replace the pump with an OEM pump. Pierburg = factory Porsche (feel free to pay more for one in a Porsche box if you really want to spend money).
5. Do not use a pump that has metal impeller blades.
Hit the water pump and found a little part of one impeller missing. Is there something I need to do now?
