I have my fingers crossed
I dropped the car off at a shop today. This goes against everything I believe in but they have experience with supercharged Boxsters and the like. My prediction is that when the car went under boost it blew a vacuum line off somewhere that I just cant find. They are going to smoke test it and fine tune the fuel, wish me luck.

I don't believe in luck, but I sure do believe in the power of prayer and I'm praying that they find out what's wrong with your car ASAP so we can go for a drive when I come up in a few weeks!
Keep us posted.

The more and more you post, the less and less I would ever try to install my own supercharger.

Im trying not to discourage anyone. Lets see if they say it is supercharger related, will know tomorrow. It ran fine so I know its something simple that I missed. Its a small vacuum leak Im almost positive.

Update, could oil tube cause vacuum leak?
I called the shop today and the guy told me they smoke tested it and the oil filler tube is broken where it goes into the block. I knew that, he told me to relax take a couple of asprin and he will call me tomorrow. He was being funny not a smart alec. I want to know how much money they are going to charge me. I guess the intake is off and they are waiting for the part. Once the oil tube is fixed they better not tell me its done. Could that affect vacuum? He didnt say this was a vacuum leak by the way.

By the "oil filler tube" do they mean the accordian object connecting the Air/Oil Seperator to the block? Its less then $100 in parts and takes a hour to two hours at most to change if thats what they mean. Yes it causes a vacuum leak,CELcodes P1124 and P1126 came in time for me!
How to remove/install oil seperator
I never removed the intake manifold, that's way too unnecassary! Its accesible from under the car.

Blinkwatt... by Oil Filler Tube, he means...Oil Filler tube. Its the tube that connects the engine block to the Oil Refiller Cap in your trunk, and yes it will cause a vacum leak. Typically a Turbo or supercharged car has one-way PCV (Pressure Control Valve) to prevent vacum leaks that sometimes push your dip stick up outta the housing.
I wonder if the Breather vent for you engine crankcase has a PCV or just a tube leading to the intake manifold like any other N/A motor would have. The boost pressure could be filling your crankcase and possibly causing your oil filler tube to be spit out while under boost.
The PCV would prevent the boost from shooting into the crankcase under boost while allowing the vacum pressure to suck out the gases that hot oil emits during operating temps during idle.... Helps maintain oil viscosity. Its basically a 1 way valve.

I wonder, wouldnt the Oil Separater devise be a glorified PCV with extra Vacum tubes and some secondary functionality?

When I was installing the SC duct work I heard the damn thing crack but I had just changed the oil and wasnt going to replace it until my next oil change. I guess I should have fixed it at that time now Im paying to have it done.

Matt: Sorry to hear about the filler tube
FWIW, there have been a number of guys on Pete's board that have had the same problem. IIRC, the issue is getting at the part to remove it.
Attached is a link from Renntech that has a lot of good info on the subject.

Mike,
Im just going to pay to have it done but thanks for the info.
Now I know what the parts cost and reasonable labor time. Im still wondering if this has anything to do with my vacuum issue. It just doesnt seem like it would.

Funny, I just got off the phone with the shop. They tell me that the wrong part came yesterday and the correct part came today at 3:00 pm. They are working on it now and will call me as soon as it is done. Closed on Saturday so Im sure I wont get it back until Monday. Its been there all week so I guess my fingers are still crossed.

Careful Ohio,
Keep them crossed too long and you'll get Carpal Boxster Syndrome. Sometimes that will cause your Rear Main Seal to leak and you'll have to wear Depends.

Picked up my car.
Ok, so heres what happened since last post. The car shop called me and the conversation went something like this.
Shop: Oil tube is fixed but you still have a problem
Me: Ok, what
Shop: Check engine light is on and the codes are telling us all the 02's are bad
Me: Thats weird I just replaced all the 02's
Shop: Well you may have wired them wrong, I can look at it if you want. The car is
boosting and running just fine
Me: You open tomorrow? (Saturday)
Shop: No, I will have to look at it Monday
Me: Ok, Let me know.
Shop: Call ya next week
We hang up and the wife says hey why dont you pick it up for the weekend and just drop it off next week. After a short argument that I will always lose.
OK DEAR, Sheeesh. This is man stuff.
I called the shop back and paid my bill to date and told them my intentions. I go pick up the car and the thing starts right up has no CEL and is pulling 16 in/lbs of vacuum at idle. It has never pulled that much vacuum at idle. Drove it 20 miles home, no CEL light and the car runs better than ever. Boost even comes on earlier. How in the hell could the damn oil filler tube cause a vacuum leak? It cost me 363.00 bucks but it was money well spent!
Next question, why no CEL?
I dont know what to say besides the car is running fantastic. You can argue the vacuumissue all you want but heres a pick of the vacuum gauge when I picked up the car. The only thing they did was replace te oil filler tube. If the light comes back on i will drop it back off next week.
Pic of boost gauge.
