I am the original owner of my 2003 S and have 64k on my original clutch. The IMSB was done at 42k and the rear main seal at 48k. Both times the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and release bearing were in excellent condition and went back in. At my second HPDE this past August, my instructor asked when I had the clutch replaced because it felt like new. I told him I'm still on the original clutch.

52800 miles. My IMS failed so when they (dealer) did the work they told me the clutch needed replacement. Good thing was the guy I purchased the car from covered 10% of the engine replacement AND the clutch. PCNA covered 90% of the engine replacement. BTW the total 10% added up yo $3250 bucks! I bought at 49500 miles and it failed at 52800.

Don't forget to replace the flywheel bolts as well if changing the flywheel

98,000 miles. Still had about 25% of the lining, but the throw-out bearing was shot.

Change the bolts whenever flywheel comes off

Even if you remove the flywheel and put it back on I think the bolts need to be changed, my indie did that on mine when he did the IMS and then the RMS.

By the time the car has over 90k miles the DMF is coming toward the end of it's service life according to LUK
