climate control buttons don't work?

Some of the AC control buttons don't seem to be working, particularly the down buttons for the set point and the fan. I can raise the temp but not lower it. The fan starts out at one bar and automatically raises to full fan within a min or so. I can't use the down button to lower the fan setting. The side buttons all seem to be fine. It appears to me the fan up button is stuck but that doesn't explain while the temp down button isn't working. It's possible some condensation from a drive thru drink dropped from the cup holder onto the face of the unit.

Is it easy to pull the unit and take off the face and clean the buttons? Any other suggestions?

Also, the display is missing some lights on the temp side, and there is a kit on Pelican Parts for repair. Does this fix the issue?

The fan does run and change speed and the heat is increasing? If this is the case the control module may be going bad (bad buttons). Try to find a replacement from a dismantler. New one are pricey about $575.

Possibly the blower fan resistor (yes, it screws with the cc unit when bad).

Well maybe they dried out but they seem to work fine now.

Just need a new LCD screen now.
