Brasso here. It's what I had laying around, and seemed to work just fine. Stainless steel polished aftermarket muffler and tips. I'm sure the original tips are also polished stainless steel, and would guess the original muffler is mill finished (not polished) stainless steel.

I just used Brasso this week, and am very happy with the results. The tailpipe looks new again.
