Thanks for all the tips!!! Especially to use newspaper. Ya know... I think use I know about using newspapers to wipe with, but at some point just forgot about it.

So ... the newspaper thing. Is any particular newspaper best? The Wall Street Journal, maybe?

Kidding aside, this sounds like a neat tip, and not one that I at least would have thought of in a million years.

Nice detailing tips here....Is Stoner Invisible Glass available at retail stores? Or only online? Sounds like a lot of people here using it....

Never mind ...I see where Perfectlap says Pep Boys carries it....

Hi,

Once again, a seemingly universal Solvent/Cleaner - PrepSol, especially for the exterior Windshield. It will cut through Sap, Bugs, Grime and Diesel Oil Film. I also use Jaguar Glass Polish once annually.

Another good annual Cleaner is to use Bon Ami Cleanser, this is an old Show Car trick. Bon Ami uses Calcium Carbonate rather than Pumice like Ajax or Comet uses, and so will not scratch the glass, but will clean all the builtup grime and such without hurting the Glass or surrounding Paint or Rubber, just be sure to use plenty of rinse water. And unlike Ajax or Comet, it contains no Chlorine...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
