Oh my god, I'm so sorry!
It's very painful to hear, and I wish you strength and peace in the difficult days ahead.

Sorry to hear. I feel your pain. It's not easy.

I lost my father almost 10 years ago and think about him everyday. He taught me so much and is partly responsible for my love of the automobile.

Timco,

So sorry for your loss. As others have also shared, my father was called home several years ago. Not a day passes that I don't think of him at least once.

Different circumstances, but this past Summer in the latter part of my road trip through WV, NC and KY, my Boxster's thermostat failed. My rental car was a Nissan Versa Note. Blech!

So I can empathize with you on both sides of the situation.

Thanks guys. Whitey was my dad and friend. Absolutely NOT a car guy, but liked his jeep enough to keep the repairs up on it. His passing was 2-3 days hospice, never regained consciousness. Stroke took the entire right side of the brain.

TAKE YOUR MEDS!!!!

Something I found most comforting on this trip was stopping by the Walgreens and buying tweezers to finally fish out & pull that ear hair that made it all the way across and was tickling the other side.
