Did TRON order a Porsche?

Huh. So what the heck is this? Popped up on the showroom floor today. Dealer was closed so I couldn't ask about it.

The car will have four electric motors, one per wheel. Together, these motors will produce 3,320 pound-feet of torque. Top speed for the e-tron is limited to 200 kilometres per hour and it will be able to travel 150 miles on full charge.

So why the intake grills in the front bumper and those little intake ports on the rear fenders?

Looks like a 991 Turbo that's been chrome wrapped.

I haven't seen anything referencing this online so I assume it's a "dealer special edition" or a promo vehicle. Agreed, has to be a wrap of some kind.
Yeah, it's not my bag, but it would be interesting to see what it looks like driving under the city lights at night. You'd stand out, that's for sure!

(yeah, old TRON all the way! Never saw the new-remake-sequel, whatever it was)

To cool the four electric motors, of course.

Imagine the blinding glare coming off that in traffic. Keeping it clean and spotless would be a chore.

It's a chrome wrap (very $$ to do right) with reflective

tape placed over the wrap. Seems to be very popular to do on high end exotics (lambos especially). You can google tron car wrap and probably find some similar designs. The reflective tape does show up at night depending on the angle you are viewing it from. There is a prismatic chrome wrap film that trumps all of these and is sure to send bystanders into a seizure when viewed. Not something I would choose to do personally but I guess if you need lots of attention.

Fast forward to about 2:58 when it goes through the tunnel. BTW...I think this is Justin Beiber's japanese cousin.

Oh yeah, I can't even begin to imagine the upkeep on that finish, even for an occasional car. And at high noon you'd be pissing off everyone around you!
