This IS an interesting question. It is VERY hard for any company to maintain outsized margins. In the face of the intensely competitive car business, I see this margin as a very attractive target for other companies.

Face it, there are not too many bad cars being made anymore.

No, but there is a lot of ugly cars being made. Monte Carlo for starters.
