Bummer! Used parts and Ebay comes with it's risks.

You mention a video. Can you share?

I am computer challenged ......the video was sent to me via instant messaging I have no idea how to post it. I'd be willing to try if someone can walk me through it. Or maybe Jake can post.

Wait on that video... The engine was running lean and wasn't optimum.. Lets get it perfect before we start letting the world see it :-)

We are all excited to see your new engine, one question... does the DME learns by itself the optimal fuel maps (with a now larger displacement) after running for a while?

Gilles,
You saw the engine apart in my clean room during the class you attended here. It was that beast with the huge bore that I would;t answer any questions about :-)

The DME will learn, but we use different injectors and will have to tune it after it logs some break in miles. This thing revs so fast that I typically have to slow down the factory pedal mapping so the car is drivable in the rain!

That's what I call a quality problem! Blipping the throttle for downshifts could get interesting too.

Jake your description of my engine made me laugh ! I am so excited to drive this beast you can't imagine. Gilles you got to see my engine in person before I did .

rfuerst, please let me tell you that it wasn't easy..

As I keep following Jake until he finally was by himself and ask him to take me to the CLEAN room to see his 'personal projects' once inside it reminded me of something out of 'Lockheed Martin's sterile satellite assembly room'...
