Yeah emissions is the hard part on diesels. They can produce loads of power. The amount of energy for diesel fuel vs. Gas is greater. Look at the truck mags and you will see trucks 6 and 7 k in weight pulling in low 11 second quarter mile times. That's some serious power!

The R8 that almost came out was supposed to have 738 lbs of torque!
