Jake that is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard, I've been involved with racing engines for years including Indy car. If what you say is true then the dt40 oil is total crap and should not be used in a lawn mower. You are now in the Snake oil salesman category in my book. You obviously are selling based on the fact that an idiot is born every minute, and are obviously a lot of idiots who own Porsche vehicles. A fool and his money are soon parted.
How many oil developments have you been part of? I'll not argue with you; I simply stated that DT40 was never developed for the track, and that our focus with race oils like the XP series has been focused on track activities.

DT40 has a long lasting anti- wear package and its dispersants are also long term, better suited for everyday driving. The XP series of oils are opposite of this, and they are short lived with the ability to withstand extreme heat for track service.

Generally when DT40 has changed in the past the entire formula was not changed, it was simply a new type of moly that was used, or etc.

As far as selling anything, like Snake Oil, well I challenge you to try and buy something from me.. I have nothing to sell except a complete turn key engine, there's no eBay store, no online store and I have no way to handle the sale of anything except a complete engine. I am a developer, not a sales person.

That said, back in 2008-2009, before DT40 was sold I used to sell the same oil as my private label, and I indeed was a Snake Oil salesman. It worked, I'd sell 3-5,000 gallons per year. That wasn't enough to have the oil made, so unfortunately it had to get sold to the public, and was branded DT40, with my name on the first three generations of bottles.

Of course, a lot of this is humorous. That really is my great, great grandfather. I believe he was just as mean as I am by looking at him!
