Oz doesn't really do Craiglist, but found this on our equivalent...

https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/roselands/cars-vans-utes/porsche-986-boxster-bargain-low-kms-leather-wheels-exhaust-lowed/1147577918

* looks like it's spent some time in a breakers yard
* slammed suspension
* 'new porsche wheels'?
* nasty paint job + keyed all around, 'quoted $500 to fix'?
* no registration

...what could go wrong?

Just $18k of your freedom dollars (our car prices are crazy!)

Interesting color? Would it be to much to ask for the owner to hose the dirt off of the car prior to the angled artsy pics?+/- $7,500.00 asking price in SoCal?

2000 Boxster S, GT3 RS Body Kit

Local PCA Chapter member is selling this really nice Boxster. No affiliation, just looks like a really nice car.

Interesting, this Boxster has:

Quote:
GT3 half shafts
I wonder what benefit that provides over stock Boxster axles. Is that what a half shaft is?

We have a few Australian contractors at work.
I showed up with my Boxster a couple months back, and one was asking me about it.
When I told him I picked it up for $6k, his jaw dropped and he went on about how that could never happen in Australiar unless it was totaled. lol

I don't need a bumper, but I'd be picking this up today if I did:

Beware!

The spammers have moved up market. They usually have some 2005-2008 vehicle listed for $2000, but everyone is aware and blasts the ad. Looks like they're moving into a neighborhood that not everyone is familiar with. Damn spammers!

Any add on there that ends with an email address is a scam. I'm looking for a tractor right now and they're hitting hard in the farm and garden section too.

I would go buy it if I were you. Future part to trade somebody. There will be a spec race at Hallet in October and you can probably sell it for double there
