If you have ever been hit in the rear, you appreciate the bumperettes. Get then painted body/bumper color and they fade into the background.

I've had a valet in NYC back my Boxster into a concrete garage wall right as I was watching him. Minor mark on my painted bumperette, but glad I had them for sure. The new Boxsters don't have bumperettes anymore though.

This is interesting - a 2005 987 S with a 3.8 liter 997 S engine. 34k miles and $36k price. Not crazy about the lightened flywheel.

P-9 Discount

He's lowered his price to $33K on P-9.

It's a good concept to put a 911 engine in a 987, but it competes in price with 987.2s. You certainly pull for him to get his money, but like any hot rod, finding the person who thinks it's worth what the seller has in it may take a while.

$36k does seem high. It sounds like the engine is stock internally and the performance items are all bolt-on and programming. If it was a Jake Raby built engine it would be a good deal.

For $36K, you could have that 911 engine in a 911. The 997S is around that price range now.

Based on Porsche emblems you can see and assuming symmetry, there must be at least 8 authentic emblems gracing MR Two. That's 8X the number on an authentic Porsche.

No doubt, but I like a mid engine car with 2 trunks and no luggage shelf disguised as a back seat! And who doesn't want more power 😃

The Ultra Rare Porsche Baxter

Never seen one before. But it's referenced in the ad as a Baxter in 3 places. Christ sakes, the O and A keys are no where close to each other. And their first pic is of the rear with the name plate clearly in view. Maybe it's an auto-correct since there is a dealership named Baxter in the area.

Maybe it's a prototype 718? It says it has a 4 cylinder engine but no mention of a turbo. Maybe it is a 6 with only 4 cylinders actually working.

It's ads like this that really make some owners look like morons.

Probably a good deal, but not "Too good to be true". Hood looks like it's grey, spoiler is up, probably not functioning, No pics of leather, but say's it's torn, clamshell is a bit off. Nice price for the miles if the engine and transmission are good, but clearly needs some TLC. Could be a great choice as a DD for a DIYer.
