What $$ can i expect to get from a 2003 Boxster w/Blown Engine?

Like I'd emailed to you... The engine does not sound "blown". It has a common issue for the 2003 model year and has lost a camshaft/ lifter. This is a mechanical repair, but it does NOT mean that the engine has blown.

The nice cars are the ones that fail. Trust me.

Does the repair basically entail replacing the head on that one side?
Looks like used ones run a bit under $1K, and I'd guess another $500 for misc new parts, bolts etc. ???

Edit: Nevermind this---->$6500 could be a great deal if that's the case. I was thinking it was an S model

Not saying, just wondering.
