[QUOTE= there was a product out (by I think a Swedish company) that did something like that but can't find a pic anywhere anymore so most likely no longer available.

That Reiger wing looks like the Gemballa wing
Gemballa USA
Not sure that's sold anymore, either.

That Reiger wing looks pretty cool to me. It looks like the base of it must fill up any gap between the wing and the trunk lid pretty well.
Does anyone have a current link for this? or has this site gone obsolete?

That's a sensible and good looking spoiler. It still works as an air dam and enhances the lines without looking obtrusive. It also looks like it would be an easy install.
Can't get the site link to work in "shop" mode though.

otherwise, I think particle and nine8six should get us a fluid987/porschemesh style rear spoiler for our cars. simple and adds a lot - very whale/ducktail-ish. if you want to get more complicated, the 996tt or 981 style might be fun. OR, maclaren style - changes orientation based on speed/braking.

And all that time I was convinced to be the only one in-the-world to have those blacked LED taillights

The idea of a modern super car style spoiled that lifts and adjusts based on braking or speed.
How about some pagani style flaps?

Yo 986, where did you get those tailights and were there any issues with fitment etc? Also what did they run price wise.

And the comment I was talking about was deleted, probably why it seems like I'm a bigger ass than I really am.

"God" sent those to me mate
Seriously, it was a seller on ebay named "Crazy the God" or something like that. They are made in Taiwan from the same manufacturer of those cool looking LED headlights you see around. The taillights were about $180 for the set if my mem is good. Perfect fit, 3 years later and only one burn LED... but luckily they are easy to replace (the assembly can be disassembled in 2 min)
Haven't seen them advertised for a while. Sad cuz they do look good (to me anyway). Heard many times that they are way too "busy looking" by the other Porsche guys I play with (they are just being jealous lol)

Love the red Dectane tail lights. Sadly, I haven't been able to find any for quite a while.

Dectane all the way! I got the all blacked out ones, meanest looking tailights. So much happier with that purchase than with my MK2 headlights

Here's an idea, go pick up an OEM spoiler, break out the surfboard foam and the fiberglass and make one. Ya never know, you might have a new business in the works. ;-)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder- even tacky crap that's oh-so -last century. Incidently you both have a superiority/ inferiority complex so I'm not at all surprised that you've found each other. Oh and just because you both grew up poor doesn't mean you're any less than anyone else. So be good and keep up the good fight
