Talking Front and back cameras/alerts

Just purchased a new Boxster basic and, being I am a "senior" citizen, am regretful that I did not opt for the front and back cameras and alerts. The dealer advised me that they do not install, after the fact, those options. And a sales rep warned me that installing that equipment can be very difficult on a Porsche.
I will appreciate any and all advice on this matter, particularly would appreciate any product referrals.

Not sure how "senior" you are (I'm 64), but Boxsters have 3 great rear view mirrors and a nice big windshield. Just slow down and drive defensively; pretend you are on a motorcycle and no one can see you!

Do a search on the internet to find aftermarket equipment that will work with the stock Boxster.

Here is one example. There are several more;

Porsche | 911 | Boxster | Carrera | Cayenne | Cayman | 991 | Panamera | OEM Backup Camera System

Be careful with aftermarket that guy with the loads of electrical problems in his 991 started with some aftermarket tech. Did some of the 986s have front and rear sensors? I think I read that somewhere.
