Canadian GP
Anyone going to Montreal to see the F1 race this weekend?
This is me: Grandstand 1 / Section 4 / Row B
First GP for me. "Pumped" is an understatement.

How much? It's bit of coin to see an F1 race, no?

I think the tickets were about $550, don't remember exactly. That's for all three days.
It's expensive, yes, and I may not do it again, but at least I will have done it once.

How about lodgings? Any available rooms must be going for a premium?

Not my problem - I am staying with a friend in Montreal, also an F1 fan, and we will be going to the race together. This is great because I won't have to find my own way around and I'll have a french-speaking guide. When we're not at the race we'll be sight-seeing and scarfing back grimace quantities of poutine.
All the trip is costing me is my airfare, my gate ticket and a couple of meals.

You won't need them this year. Gone are the screaming V8s and V10s.
Just sayin'.............

I'll take plugs. I've lost enough of my hearing already.

Didn't need the plugs, not for the F1 cars anyway. The Ferrari Challenge cars were pretty loud though.
What a fantastic weekend, first time at a GP, first time in Montreal. Look what I saw:
And if that's not cool enough, this was parked a little further down the street
Yes sir, that is indeed a Pagani Huayra. The orange car behind it is another McLaren.
