Got to see this in person in 2006. The then-new 6.3 V8.

As with many engines these days, it was spun up electrically for testing. (Not the starter motor)

Love that sealant application robot!

The coolest part is across the street where they do customs. It's where the idea of "Black Edition" started.

A few years ago it was something like a $5000 option to be permitted to watch in person your new Corvette's engine being built.

What do you think that CNC caulking machine cost.

A cheap robotic desktop programmable sealant machine can be bought for $10K. That AMG machine plus fixtures is probably 10x that amount. Or more.
