Wierdest thing you've taken as airline baggage?

My brother showed up at a family reunion back in the 80s carrying a scythe. He'd bought it in an antique store for a relative who collected antique tools and hauled it on board with him.

Back in the mid 80’s I was carrying a briefcase full of expensive wine from Germany back to the US. Airport Security at the x-ray machine just shook their head and asked me to open the briefcase to make sure all the corks were in the bottles and sealed… That was the “Good O’l Days”.
