Porsche attire
I have wore Porsche and Mercedes shirts and hats since I was about 10, other people have favorite sports teams, I have favorite car brands, now that I own a Porsche though I am more reluctant to wear anything saying Porsche. I feel pretty borderline douchebag. Do you wear Porsche stuff, should I feel reluctant or not?

My Boxster S had a nice Porsche "Boxster S" hat in the trunk when I bought it, couldn't throw it away quick enough. That said, I am currently wearing a Maserati Fleece lol.
We are all different but since you asked.....yes, it screams DB imo.

Porsche is the ONLY brand that I'll display and it's the first one ever! If a product was ever built for me it would be a PORSCHE! This because of HOW they drive. Having said that, I often struggle with feelings that Porsche doesn't DESERVE my love and worship. I shudder at today's youth and how easily they embrace corporations. A spiritual crisis creates people searching for meaning and corps have rushed into the vacuum with their promise-filled logos and brand identities. I think we Porschefiles are usually worshipping the Porsche from the days of our youth.

Only wear Porschefanalia to Porsche events or your local DE/Autox.
Much better to wear free advertising for Porsche racing teams or tire makes.
In lieu of all that that you can wear Martini Racing gear year round.

I picked up a wool sweater from the porsche museum in Stuttgart in between owning a 914 and my current boxster. I wear it occasionally because I like it. That being said it only says porsche in the piping and is very subtle. And yet every time I wear it I get a comment.

To be honest while branded, you can't know what's said that you don't hear, but what I do hear is about a 40%pos 60% neg split.. But if you look at it in a male or female sense about 90% of the female comments are positive with much more love from the peanut gallery on the male side.

I only wear a Morgan T shirt and occasionally a Morgan 4/4 hat. I also have a T shirt with an MG on it but never wore it. I do have a briefcase with a small embossed Jaguar symbol on it but it is barely visible. Had a mug with Mercedes on it but it wore off in the dishwasher. No Porsche clothing, hats or other gear, just the cars.

Porsche #1 coffee mug everyday at work. Only gear heads appreciate it. No other Porsche branded stuff.

I have a Porsche hat, two Suncoast shirts, and a Brumos shirt. Generally I'll wear the hat, but not with the shirts.

At your age, I'd go with what the chicks think.
Just be prepared when Billy Jo Redneck serves up the douchebag treatment.

I got a $250 gift card to the Porsche Design store when I bought my 981. Bought something like this, sans belty-strap things on the waist and high collar. Quite useful as the Wiff would frequently take my hoodie. I agree that most of the Porsche design stuff is a bit garish. As for baseball caps, I'm more of a purist and I don't believe Porsche has a baseball team. Can't say I follow racing, but am pro martini and Rob Roy.:
