Correct me if im wrong but this man is selling a working 986 engine for $1300, plus rims, steering wheel, gauges, seats, brakes, and other stuff. So its a great deal. anybody scared of ims well this is the solution backup engine.

That's what I was thinking, looks like a good deal on spare parts, plus it would be easy to spot any oil leaks.

The ad states that "This auction is for the 5 Speed Transmission. The engine, sensors, wiring harness, maf, and ecu are available separately to the winner." I wonder how much he/she expects to get for the motor after you spend $1300 on the gearbox.

Who the hell wakes up one day and decides to make a go-cart out of a Boxster though?

if it had proper roll cage.... and not a decapitation device... then I would love to drive that thing at my local autocross!


Actually... just get the sawzall out to cut the mouse trap part off and I'd drive the wheels off that thing. Literally! LOL.
