				P- car spottings/ day

How often do you see another Porsche SPORTS CAR? During summer months, I see one, once a week unless I'm in Vancouver where I'd see one or two per day. Off season, I see one every 2-3 weeks.

Last weekend in Napa, saw 6 boxsters. 4 just in the same square in Sonoma. I must have missed the invite for the informal Boxsterfest. But to those willing to take the trip Napa/Sonoma seems to be Boxster-friendly.

I was in Napa last weekend heading to the Oxbow market. Wonder if I was one of the 6 haha.

I don't see many Porsches on a daily basis, but I hear lots of voices. Does that count ?

20? 30? Who knows? They are kind of everywhere.
17% of all Porsche sales are in the LA area. Spotting P-cars in LA is a dime a dozen.

Had no idea about LA! I think it sucks when your car is not that rare/special in a certain area.

Case in point, I see 5-6 corvettes a day here in Sacramento, and my vette is def more rare when I travel to the bay area...where, you guessed it, there are more P-cars.

I see maybe 2 P-cars a day here.

The only cars that get noticed on my side of town, West LA - Malibu, are Lambos and McClarens. And only the orange ones really turn heads. Even Ferraris are a bit too common. What was noticeable was the trio of 318 spyders with mfg plates a saw on PCH a few months back! I might as well be driving a mid 70s Celica with my '00 silver Boxster ;-)

Here in Marin I see plenty of Porsche, Ferraris, Teslas, BMWs, etc. Fewer Lambos but they're around. In fact my commute route from work takes me past several body shops that specialize in exotic cars. On Friday I saw a new Ferrari parked in front of one shop with a missing rear bumper. Imagine the pain the person who rear-ended the Ferrari must be in, financially.-
Then there are the Ferrari, Lambo, and Tesla factory service centers all in a row on my commute as well. About a year ago I went on a Porsche backroads drive with about 20 cars. There was a CGT and GT3RS in the lot. This town and its cars...

In Spain where my car lives and where I get to visit now and then, P-cars are rare enough that a Ferrari coming the other way flashed its lights at me to say "hi" recently. That will probably never happen in California.

Now the snow is on the ground and the roads are more slippery when I drive my Box about 3-4 times a week I see no other Porsche. I imagine most of them are in hibernation for the winter. It's still a good winter driver on blizzaks. |

In my neck of the wood (Bay Area) they are more common than Civics. But the car I REALLY see here a LOT now is the Tesla S

I've seen maybe 3 Porsches in the last 6 months in the Riverside area, not including the 60+ at the last Auto-X in San Diego.
I think the folks in this area must hide them away in the garage.

I usually see another Porsche sports car every 1-2 weeks, but my neighbors would tell you they see one almost every day between mid-March and early December. |

Almost never. (look where I'm from) There's 3 in the whole county....However I pass many $60k + trucks every day. I can't believe what people spend on trucks! Oh and lots of $200-300k combines and farm equipment...

				SW Colorado sightings

Four of us at my office. Mine, Boxster, the rest of them, two 911's and a Cayman. In the Durango area, I see two or three others.

And yet just a few hundred miles south, in Texas, there's thousands of them!
