Dangermobile - End of the Season Review
As of November 1st, the Dangermobile was officially taken off the road for the Winter. However, I'm please to say that this season marked the most mileage I've ever put on the D-mobile. A whopping 1600 miles !! And, it was driven with the top down no less than six times (stop the madness !). In addition, it was caught in the rain 2 or 3 times (sacrilege !), I allowed one of Danger Girls to put her feet down on the floor mat (guaranteed to work 60% of the time, every time!) and narrowly escaped a bird crapping on the top (wholesale destruction !) The odometer now read 22, 364 miles. Holy end times !! I may have to replenish the original windshield washer fluid now !

When you decide to add windshield washer fluid to the reservoir make sure and buy the good stuff, and by all means do not, I repeat, do not over-fill… The mess that fluid makes is indescribable.

It is so odd for me to hear you guys talking about preparing or garaging cars for winter. In the city where I live it is more or less top-down weather for 10 months of the year. In fact, in the entire state of Western Australia (a state with over 1,000,000 square miles of area, nearly 4 times the size of Texas) it does not snow. I have never used snow chains, I've never even used anything but summer tyres regardless of the season.
It does put things into perspective and I now have a great deal of respect for guys that persevere with Boxsters knowing well that they will only get a few good months (or even weeks) a year in which to truly enjoy them.

Yeah, but you guys not only drive on the wrong side of the road, the steering wheel is on the wrong side as well.

You forgot that we need REALLY sticky tyres as well. How else does one stay firmly planted on the ground in the southern hemisphere!

That's right JD... If you actually looked at Australians from outer-space they are driving on the right/correct side of the road but upside down.
