I love all the trunk space in my Box but I can't figure out where this person stores their wheel chair

A folding walker would fit in the rear trunk.

Just wait till Obama care kicks in, there will be more handicapped parking spots than regular spots in a couple years and people with nice cars will finally get the wide parking spaces that they deserve.

Actually, I think you guys are being a bit excessive. I drive a box and have a handicap plaque. In fact, one of the jokes I have about the car is it is a 12K knee exerciser. In all honesty it has helped my knee, but it'll never be perfect and long walks are still way too painful (one of the reasons I have the plaque).

If the door did not open as wide as it does, I could not have bought the car either. That wide door makes it possible to get in, and out, without putting too much stress on my knee. So give the handicap person driving a Boxster a break. Or if you are going to complain, just complain because he/she didn't park between the lines.

Don't be that guy.

Not sure in the US but in Australia, when I had back surgery and was recovering I had a temporary sticker that let me park in disabled spots.

I didn't have a wheelchair or walking stick, just walked slowly with some difficulty so being closer helped.

And stupid me thought the picture was about the number plate......
Who honestly could drive about the streets with that plate attached to the car, especially if you're a 6'5" football player with a gammy ankle ???

Rodney Dangerfield once said: "I just beat up a handicapped person. He parked in one of our spaces!"

No handicap sticker on that Box, but it looks like it was just clay barred and waxed with several coats.

Please remember that just because some is not in a wheel chair or has a visible handicap it does not mean that they are not. Lots of people have had heart or lung issues that prevent them from normal actives.

Keysguy

PS just because it has not handicap plate or sticker does not mean the driver is not entitled, I had a temp placard after my series of chest and lung surgeries

A good point, but in this case, the person did not even park in the space, as if to keep the adjacent car away from it, so I'm inclined to go with douchebag.
