option code sticker

is it common for the option codes decal under the front trunk lid to bubble?

Only after experiencing extreme levels of radiation.

Parking the car in the hot sun in Palm Springs for example,
or Parking near the Los Alamos Nuclear Lab.

Yes, very common. Some even fall off.

Mine looks like its been immersed in water (it hasn't) and has bubbled and faded considerably. As jb92563 says, it must be the heat from the sun melting / un-gluing the sticker.

I wish I could get a replacement.....anyone know where from?
