if you don't mind sharing the seller's inital asking price please do. I'll just assume you didn't pay full price.
 p.s.
ask if the inside of the rear window's stitching has been re-sealed for water penetration. When I had this done last year the installer did not re-seal and droplets were already forming on the bottom center of the window on the drive home.
annoying because I had the window replaced because of a small cut it was not leaking inside unless it rained really hard.
I think they just need to hit it with some silicone.
Also check the fit, my installer didn't center it completely square and some creases were forming which was also annoying.
I should have had the whole top replaced with a new aftermarket glass option. Some on here have had it done for as little as $1,000.

You look great in the 2001 black Boxster. I have a same year base Boxster with similar mileage. You may find that the opposite sex may come onto you like bugs on a windshield. Any problem you encounter somebody here will have an answer for....enjoy.

Same color as mine. PITA to keep it clean, but damn it collect compliments as well as dust from my coworkers.
And I work at a place that the parking lot is full of luxury and sports cars, and mine is by far the cheapest of them all.
Unless of course they're sucking up to me in person and then laughing behind my back...

The black Boxsters are especially appealing to woman, so youll be putting on big grins constantly. I get compliments weekly from both persuassions.
However, beware the pickup trucks trying to keep up with you in the twisties, seems their egos are bigger than their brains, until they find themself in embarrasing off road excursions.

Like I say to all new Porsche owners, the Porsche performance driving school is highly recommended, and the most fun event of the year, plus youll come away able to drive like youve never done, before and feel like Mario Andretti.

 Welcome to the club!
