you sure its not your speed limit alert that you accidentally set :-) that's usually the first question I ask people... Another thing to check is the connections on the faceplate... pull the faceplate off and get an alcohol pad and clean the little copper contacts - I've never actually seen these cause beeping noises but they cause all sorts of strange issues with the radio if the contacts are dirty.

Hello, thanks for your kind reply. I double checked the speed limiter and raised the speed, still more beeping. Both journeys today and no beeps so it’s completely random. The radio face plate has a small crack in the plastic, only visible when removed, also the first letter of the screen is pixelated so it reads ORSCHE no letter P
My son says that sometimes the radio screen says HOME or similar when beeping but l have never seen this as always driving.
Sorry to hijack the thread guys, this has been bugging me for aaaages.

Might be time to look for a new faceplate or just a replacement head unit. Sounds like the faceplate could definitely have some damage which could cause this... Anyhow best of luck... I've seen these for sale on ebay but never actually changed one out.

Not really an issue - its just that most people don't have the original code card :-)
4289 is your code :-)
Cheers

Try 4585 first and if that doesn't work try 4575

Try 0510 and if that doesn't work use 0500 but 0510 should work.

Heiko,
Could you look up the code for my CDR-220.

Typ: CDR 220
Model: BE 4462
Serial #: 15086925

For two weeks I've been trying the number on the card in the radio manual, 4654, and it not being accepted, I removed the radio and it has a nice "Becker Replacement" sticker on the top...… now I know why 4654 doesn't work.

Thank you very much.

-Eric
