Why not? It's cheap, easy to apply, looks good, and peels off easily.
It's an experiment...if I like the matte black look, I may get them painted down the line.

It hadn't occurred to me that you wanted to be able to remove it easily- kind of at odds with the usual treatment of wheels. Thanks.
