No front plate on either car. Been pulled over 3 times for no front plate. Once in the Boxster, twice in the 993 Turbo. All State police. Every time I was given a warning ticket. Cops were very nice to me. One cop even said he "could not 'see' me on radar without a plate" because he "could not lock onto to me with his radar gun" he said the radar "just bounces off the slope of the hood". I don't know if this is true, but it works for me.
I did get a parking ticket from the city of Chicago ($65) for no front plate while parked at Peet's Coffee at North and Sheffield. That sucked.
