Question Just wondering??????

Why do posters almost always distort or block out their license plate numbers when posting car photos on a forum???

The car is used on public streets, right? Don't people see it all the time on the streets?

If anyone would like to know my license plate number, I'll be glad to post it here. Without loosing any sleep.

I hear you and your point is a good one, but its not the Boxster that I am worried about having stolen. Its what's in the house that is attached to the garage that stores the Boxster that I am worried about. Nice cars = nice things = nice target. I think that most people posting pic's are just trying to minimize online advertising that they own nice stuff.
