I like the Elise the most because the engine is not a big deal to fix. and second hand the engine makes the pricing more interesting.
The S2000 is next but kind of boring unless the revs are up.
An E46 M3 Convertible migh be to your liking. I had a friend with a white/red with the sport seats with really high bolsters that reminded me of my GT3 seats.
And I've kind of liked the idea of Corvette in a carbon wrap with gun metal colored wheels, sorta like if Batman had to go to the Jersey Shore.

A replacement engine for an Elise is about $2500 used. And there isn't much that goes wrong with the engine. The most common seems to be a problem with cam lubrication. It doesn't sound as good as a flat-6 though.
