confusion re. ims replace 986 vs 987

kriss Registered User Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: albany Posts: 40	confusion re. ims replace 986 vs 987 I have called 3 independent shops and they all claim the technique for replacing the ims on 986 and 987 engines are the same-same costs. this seems to run counter to forum opinions that have 987 repairs much more expensive than 986. whats up?
