if you change the suspension set up too far off the original YOU have to change the set up to suit the camber otherwise as you mention you will be going through tyres like mad, imagine that I change on average my rear tyres yearly, that include a couple of track days and probably 25K and I didn't change the fronts for 3 years, you need to go to a specialist and get it set properly
