real nice! now go buy a new camera.
Nice, very nice.
btw, i have eibach springs, and its wearing the rear tires unevenly, the inside wears out completely after about 15K miles. (19inch wheels) had dunlop 9000 tires, and i dont drive too hard. think i need alignment? ps. now go and get yourself a new camera. |
if you change the suspension set up too far off the original YOU have to change the set up to suit the camber otherwise as you mention you will be going through tyres like mad, imagine that I change on average my rear tyres yearly, that include a couple of track days and probably 25K and I didn't change the fronts for 3 years, you need to go to a specialist and get it set properly

Looks nice!
The rear bumper, are those the Zender or such bumper extensions or is it an 03 and up bumper? It looks pretty nice. If they are add-ons, how do they attach... double face tape, screw, bracket? Kindly, Joe 01S Triple Black |
HI,
Frankly I can't tell any difference in the Stance of the Car. With the Chrome Wheels, Fixed Rear Wing and the Rear Diffuser, it a little bit too Tricked Out for my Personal Taste, but I nonetheless think you did a good job of it. Definitely get an alignment, unless you're 3/4 way through the Tires, then have it done at Tire replacement. Good Luck!... Happy Motoring!...Jim'99 |
thanks to all for your comments
now the question is 225 45/17 in the front or the stock 205/50/17..i will be getting new tires in about 3000 to 5000 miles, i will do the alignment then...i have 15500 miles on this set...does anyone kow of a good place in O.C. for alignments, that does not cost 400.00 dollars...
as to your question AUDIOGUY ,thats a stock rear bumper my04 .i just had the bumperets painted to match the car.. kajita ,yea i am working on the camera thing but i find myself spending all my money on the boxster... :D |
Carmos, nice car ($hitty camera!). I really like the rear diffusers. Are these on all 2004's?
|
bmussatti,i agree about the camera....and the diffusers are stock on my04...

As for the alignment i get mine done at the dealer. Pasadena Rusnak charges $150.00 for a 4 wheel alignment. Go to any local dealer in your area and they should do a price match for you. |
TriGem2k, thanks for the info. My dealer in Newport Beach quoted me 400.00...so I am going to call dealer in Norwalk and see there price. If not I may just drive to Pasadena...Who is your service advisor? Thanks again for the help... :)

Any dealer should do a price match.....Just have them call up Pasadena Rusnak to confrim the price of $150. I actually go to Beverly Hills Porsche, and they price match Rusnak for the alignment everytime i do it. Pasadena is much more convient for me but my family has gone to Beverly Hills since 1988 so i jsut stuck with it. I always call up a few dealers in my area before i go in for service just to make sure i get the best possible deal....My service advisor at Beverly Hills is Eric Patino. |
