Thanks - I may be able to give you a run for your money on putting $$$$$ into these cars, I have had mine for 14 days and by Friday will have spent over 4k!!!!

The foam coming from your AC vents is a common problem on older cars. As the rubber and foam gets older it starts breaking down, specially in warm climates. Without tearing the dash apart not much to do about it.

Keep searching the forums. There is a procedure to R&R the foam without removing the dash and opening up the air handling box for the heat and AC. The fix involves removing the heater core, but I don't remember off the top where to find the post.
