Sunny, low-to-mid 60s in Southern Mississippi. What was I supposed to do?

Congrats, however maybe a bit too much information.

The key stuck in the ignition on Friday night. Fortunately, I had bought a bunch of spare parts from someone who sold his Boxster and it included a spare ignition switch. I spent Saturday morning with my face under the dash and my feet on the seat back replacing the switch. All is well thanks to others who shared their experience on this forum.

Today I talked to another board member who is selling me the bases from his 8-way power seats. He had the bases remaining from a project. (He still has the seat backs if anyone is interested). This will enable me to complete my seat upgrade (http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/58080-full-power-seat-installation.html) by installing an 8-way power seat on the passenger side. I'll also help a friend upgrade his driver's seat with the other base.

Oh - and I got to drive the car a little bit.

Hooked up my shiny new Durametric. It's so good to get inside The Imp's brains!
Highly recommended piece of kit.

ECS wheel spacers

I installed ECS wheel spacers. 5mm in the front and 15mm on the rear. Also adjusted the parking brake, installed an alcantara shift boot, and aluminum race pedals.

Now, I need to get my GT projectors installed and clean up the lens.

Replaced both side dash vents with new (used) parts. Old vents were marked up and the louvers were not adjustable anymore.

New Delivery

Yesterday took delivery of two new torque wrenches, thought about using them. But then only went out to the garage to look at her. Have a long list of things to get accomplished this winter, I should probably get going.

finally installed the top speed muffler and pipes on my 2000 and boy does it sound marvelous!! initially had some exhaust leaks which caused some droning between 2k and 3 k (it was a bit loud but bearable) but after rolling with it for about 300 miles i re tightened everything (used the easy seal clamps) and now it's as crisp as it can be. droning is virtually gone and it's less loud but when you jump on it the sound is just as i would have wanted this car to sound from factory.

tunnels and overpasses are just instant stress relievers! sounds like a swarm of angry African bees and you just can't stop smiling! i was going to upgrade my sound system next but now.. who cares! gas mileage is in the toilet though.. i'm on the gas all the time.

my only regret is not installing this sooner although it was nice to experience the boxster in it's stock form which was not bad at all. i do miss the intake sound a bit.

best mod so far!! more people should experience this amount of fun for just 500$

Got these a while ago, but wondering if anyone else has these. Alumalook clock and trip reset stems for the gauges...I always felt the standard stems looked real cheap.

Thanks, I got em a while ago from the site below. They are pricey, but I've had em since 09, and as you can see, they've held up just fine and look great.

Yesterday was the coldest day so far this season so I went to my garage, slipped back the car cover and looked at my car. That was it. I envy you people in the southern US.
