Yeah, it wasn't a completely serious statement.
That said, my brothers Yaris has over 200k on the clock and still purrs like a kitten. If you are referring to looks, it's very average looking, which is right up my alley for a daily driver. But, I'm not superficial or a brand fanboy, so all I'm looking for is something 5-10 years old, under 75k miles, and good reliability/gas mileage.

My girl thinks I'm nuts, but I just re-enrolled at the university at the age of 37. I need a school car and soon. I won't park the 986 on campus ever again...darn door dings.

A+ to what Bruce already said bud :/

In fact, go ahead with the sale. You'll be able to drive it again as much as you want in a few(neg) years. Yesterday the Science Daily reported that an university research team was able to visualize the wave behavior of a particle under room temperature for the first time in history.

With an Alias like yours Charles, I bet you can't wait to see how this negative probabilistic wave looks like

ps. midnight drive out... or should I say escapes. My favorite

With the assistance of great guy and fellow forum member truegearhead, I did the GT3 console conversion on my car.

OH MY GOD does this make driving the car better. There is a lot more room now. Great mod for anyone over 6 feet tall!

At 6'4" I will confirm that. Way more comfortable and I can heel and toe without being in a awkward position with my leg.

"Installed" Shehadehd's comfort top replacement relay. Works like a champ, highly recommended. Its friggin fantastic to have the flexibility to put the top up or down at any speed under about 20 mph with one touch operation and the ability to drive off while the top does its stuff. Installed is in quotes because its about as hard as plugging in a lamp.

Horror of horrors... I drove mine in the rain and it's been outside for a whole week and the world hasn't ended yet.

Finally stopped long enough to take a picture. Still miss the rawness of my 02 Boxster, but have to admit, liking the more refined 987 more and more everyday. They more they change, the more they stay the same.

I used Maguires black plastic restore on all of the plastic. Then I put the finishing touches on my headlight restore. While the mothers kit was great for getting the surface into good condition, the duplicolor really made the shine. I highly recommend that as a two step process. Personally, I think that it's easier to take the headlights out to do this.

Thanks for the tip KRAM!!

Installed new brake pads on all for corners. $24 shipped and 1.5 hours of my time
I've got a slight lip on my rotors, but decided that it's not enough to worry about just yet. I'll get them resurfaced or replaced in the spring.

Yesterday got new tires for the rear. Today, "cleaned" the headlight switch, so the lights come on every time!

Yesterday I was 3500 miles into the 9th day of what was supposed to be a 10 day road trip stopped at a distillery in Lawrenceburg KY and coolant was running out. Open the trunk and see it's bubbling through the reservoir cap.

Closest dealer is in Louisville, so I your the distillery to let it cool down a bit. Then I head out, keeping a watchful eye on the temperature. In the middle of nowhere, it spikes up to max. I immediately pull over and call for help.

Sheriff arrives 15 minutes later, and I wait another 45 for the tow truck. The tow to Louisville cost $270, and the a/c quit 20 miles away. Got to the dealer 15 minutes before they closed.
The finance man gave me a ride to the airport to rent a car. I am driving a Nissan Note

Hope they can get it fix tomorrow and it's "minimal" $.

Big things! Got some spill over from Cars & Coffee at my place this weekend. Drove that 2009 Viper SRT 10, turned the A3 over to 200,000 miles and realized the Box is the best all around car I've ever owned.

...and caught this guy trying to get out of the heat!
