Just ran across this and it's kind of sudden. I'm hoping you stop in from time. We already need you to design and build a modified blinker relay that blinks 3 times when pulsed. What a cool project...

that's bananas. selling the car or just divesting yourself of the forum? gonna be missed - you were a benefit to the community. perhaps drop by from time to time, esp if you see JD floating around out there in the n-ether.

Washes, waxed, detailed the interior, ,then took it to Toronto for the NIN concert. We didn't see any other boxsters on the way. Rode along the 190 with an adriatic blue speedster (I'm still drooling), and saw several carerras in Canada. The trip up the QEW with the top down was a real thrill.

The ride back in the rain wasn't as much fun, but the new top was fantastic.

Washed, quick waxed and detailed the car. Used the leaf blower method for the first time. Had to dry it 2-3 times but finally got it dry. The blower worked really well on the rims so when I took her for a quick spin to clean the rust off the rotors the inner rims were still clean when I got back (for the first time!).

but it never rains in San Diego

Easiest job in the world:

Weather Forecaster in San Diego
You could be locked in a windowless closet and do your forecast:
72 degrees and sunny sky's and be correct 85% of the time

washed her/ getting ready for a little road trip up island. After washing her I decided to de snorkel her. that side vent is a bit of a ******************** to get off and back on and the little screen was a tad annoying but had it finished in 15 minutes

Finally got around to applying the roof protectant (Techquipment) last night, since it's been sitting in the garage for the past few weeks after I scrubbed the canvas clean. At least I can take it out, now.

Washed and waxed (so it would rain - and it did - for all of 2 mins). Cleaned and add protectant to the top. Changed the oil, still need to cut the filter open and send in sample to Blackstone. Second time putting in DT40. Not sure what the analysis will show as I didn't flush the system from Mobile 1 before putting in DT40 for the first time last time. Had my indy read the cam deviation since I don't know when they were last serviced, left bank at 2.2 and right at 0 - so seems ok for now.

I swapped out a wonky rad fan ballast resistor and front bumper corner trims & mud-flaps.
It feels great to DIY, not to mention the money you don't spend on labour.
The car is still filthy from my road trip to Indianapolis 2 weekends ago. Meh, I'll wash it later.

Installed the new spoiler, had to realign the trunk lid just just a hair, but other than that it was a perfect fit.
