I finally installed a 6x40W 996 amplifier to power my rear speakers. I have only had the amp sitting in my garage for the last 4 years. Now on to the next project!

^ And I agree those calipers need to be red!

Started to do my interior swap. My garage is packed so I do all the work under a canopy in my car port. I'm lucky it isn't that cold out here but still tough to do it during winter!

Next is the dash and hydrographics on the center console and door/dash trim.

brake job

installed new ceramic brake pads and new cross drilled and slotted rotors. just finished and I'm looking forward to trying it all out tomorrow. The stock rotors were worn below the acceptable thickness. I didn't see any broken wires on the brake wear sensors but they were a little rough. I guess I'll also find out tomorrow if I need to replace the sensors too. I check my brakes every time I change the oil so if the wear sensors are compromised I thought I read on here that all I have to do is short the wires out to keep the wear light from coming on?

Haven't driven the Box in >2 weeks, just drove it to the gym yesterday...gotta love the way it drives, just the purest feeling you can get with a car.

Cleaned a bunch of gunk out of my radiators, and swapped out my winter rims for my summer ones. Had to do a minor repair on the wiring for my air horn, I did not originally use heat shrink tubing. Plus, a quick once over for a road trip this week.

Brought it out of winter storage, installed Litronics that I picked up off ebay, and drove it to the dealership to set up an oil change/inspection.

Porsche car day for us (yeah), took the 986 out for a ten miles ride only - before it fails!

- 10 miles away car from leaving home, car break down
- Flat tire (fak)
- No spare (spare tire delete, IDIOT, fak x10)
- Call my mate (live right next to us), he can't find my spare tire anywhere
- Hire a cab, ride back home to pick up a friggin "tire"
- Porsche alone, no owner, on the hazard light somewhere in Shanghai

nastyyyy, all of ity

Do NOT delete spare tire again
