Small items
Bill let me work on his Boxster today
Replaced the front orange side marker lenses
With gray ones. Big difference in the looks
Dept. in a good way.
Also installed the screens on the top drain trays.
Bill and I try to keep the car looking as nice as we
Can for a daily driver. we have had the car since
March 2014. Saw something out of the corner of
My eye when checking to make sure the side marker lamps
Worked.i saw this large oak leaf peaking out from under
The seat. Where did that come. So cleaned the
Leather and rugs really well

Drove 250 miles and snapped a few photos with my 2.3-16 (getting it out of winter storage).
I forget how loud that Cossie exhaust is. Makes the Porsche sound Lexus quiet.

Well I didn't do anything with my Boxster today, but I did consult the calendar and discovered that I'm scheduled to remove my Boxster in exactly 34 more days!!!
It's in a dedicated storage facility and I am given an appointment for the day it goes in and out of storage. It would be great if it is a "top down" day, but not very likely here in NW Indiana.

Im so stoked. I picked mine up this evening after having the top replaced with an autotrophs direct top with the glass window and defroster. I promptly put 50 glorious highway miles on it in beautiful 75 degree weather.
Added surprise? My horn now randomly works again.

I agree. I hate to think of it now in the height of my driving season, but during the winter months i live vicariously through the posts in this thread.

Dropped off the Box for a long overdue clutch. Will finally learn which IMS bearing this one has. 2000 base with April 2005 remanufactured engine.

Drove mine down the Hume highway which is a popular drive out here in Australia only for a MASSIVE kangaroo to come out and kamikaze it's self into the side of my car causing extensive damage and a nice $850 AUD insurance excess fee.

Sorry for your incident. The insurance penalty seems a bit unfair for what is probably a fairly routine random occurance in Australia. In North America we have deer who act similarly. I'm not sure how our rates are affected if we hit a deer.

Think you will find that hitting a deer will impact your rates. Rates are based on the number of claims you make, even if you aren't at fault. Make lots of claims, rates go up. Even one claim to certain companies and your rate will move up a tiny bit, but adds up over the years.

I try and not drive my box at night because of the deer. It seems like when I do drive at night, they're always on the side of the road just waiting to jump out on me.

Mounted the hardtop I picked up over the weekend from a local seller. Picked up the spinlocks and shoulder bolts from Woody (Thanks Woody!).
Of course it rained today, but no water leaks noted. Going to let the top "settle" for awhile before making final adjustments.

Did you get that top off of CL? Looks good.
914racer, Do you have anymore pics of your car? I really like everything you've done to your interior. I was going to paint all my interior trim like yours but got lazy. That's a lot of work!
