I finally got mine installed a few weeks ago after waiting almost four months. I love the PS4Ss. Great tire!

I installed a lawn/garden battery housed in a aluminum battery box I designed and built. I used an 8mm rivet nut to secure the battery box to the tray on the opposite side of the factory tray holes. Cut out almost 20 lbs.
Battery is U1-3 with 350 cca. Turns the car over better than the old boat anchor I pulled out of it.

So dumb question... Do you have to wax or polish a wrap or do you just toss it in the trash if it gets imperfections?

You wash it like paint but they make special polish for wrap. You spray it on and wipe it off

Quick one for today. Still need to get pictures uploaded from earlier this week. Hopefully (fingers crossed) will be able to make it home tomorrow.

My son and I... Replaced the entire ignition switch assemblyReplaced the directional cluster with a 4 stock version (3 stock had broken directional indicators)Added the harness and enabled the OBCReplaced the airbag bracket (as the bushing in the old one was causing the horn to beep when turning left)Removed an old immobilizer (spliced into the clutch switch). It was partially removed and tucked behind the dash with exposed wires

I'm happy to say that everything is working and I believe replacing the ignition switch assembly fixed the issue where the car would honk the horn once when you locked it (indicating something was open still). My guess is that it wasn't happy with the radio connection as the radio would sometimes stop working and it looks like the ignition may have fixed that.

Got my car smogged today, but before I got it, I had to take off the hardtop since they like to look under the top then I took it for a brisk drive around the city to get it warmed up and hot. Passed with flying colors and now I can get my tags.

It took about 2 hours.
I had a luxury to take my car a day before to friends car shop to cool down and I did the work there on following day with proper tools and a profesional lift.
Also, to take out the factory installed hose connectors from the engine side, I had a friends pair of hands to use the hose connector removal tool to get those compressed hose clips out (very difficult location).
Not a nice job to do without a proper workshop lift and tools...

I've been slowly doing a few cosmetic changes... Finished up a few projects this weekend - 996 faux headlight setup, aftermarket seat install (using factory sliders, I wrote up the diy if anyone is interested) and put in a quick release hub with flat bottom steering wheel (I forgot to take a pic but will post if anyone is interested). Now to clean up the wiring and look of the center bits and finish the dash up.

Did the air filter, first time I was in the top of the engine. Not a big deal after watching a video.
Also did cabin air filter today. Planning an oil change but wife took the car to run around.

But in his defense, she will never wear that dress again, and he'll be driving that car for a long time!

Jon and Woody are out tearing through the desert in their Boxsters, cutting them up with Sawzalls, blowing up engines and having a great time.
Meanwhile I'm afraid to get a speck of dust on mine.
