With all the negative talk about engine failures, it's nice to read one of these fell good Threads.

Damn! I guess I'm just breaking in my 99 with 125k? Honestly... any car can last hundreds of thousands of miles with routine maintenance if you just stay on top of things and... don't drive thru pot holes, don't slam on the brakes, don't peel out constantly, grind gears, etc., etc. common sense. Unfortunately I don't think I'll keep my 986 too much longer because I want to upgrade to a 987!
