New pair of GT3 replica seats for $600

Guys,

I just found a seller who has brand new GT3 replica seats on eBay for $600 + $100 shipping (yes for a pair of seats). Listing # 290672940904
I couldn't withhold myself and just ordered one set.

I am not the seller, of in any way affiliated, just thought I'd share ...

I just took a car in that had those in it.
they are ok....... I guess, I wouldn't pay 600$ for them that is for sure. I do not fit in them like GT3's.

Anxious to see how these worked out. Any install issues? Good price compared to the company I've seen selling these.

Quick update to y'all
So one seat arrived last week as the did a shipping mistake seller was very apologetic and the 2nd seat should arrive on Wed
The seats look like the real deal - no carbon fiber though they are made of fiberglass
I was hoping to reuse some side mounts from my current seat (Momo) but they wouldn't fit (big surprise ;-) so now I am waiting for the Brey Krause mounts and then I'll see if there are any install issues

still waiting for the B-K mounts
I'll post some pics after they are in the car
Otherwise the seats just look exactly like the pics in the eBay posting, so there's really no need for me to take new pictures

The 924S pictured below was formally mine, and install was a breeze. With ROTech seat brackets.

Quick update:
After a wait time that seemed to take forever, the BK side mounts finally arrived.
And guess what: The holes in the seats don't match the holes in the side mounts :-( and I am sure it's not Brey-Krause who screwed up here ;-)
So, another story of "you get what you pay for"
I am now in the process of making the seats fit, but unless you enjoy drilling holes into new race seats you might rather pass on this opportunity

So I guess I took one for the team ....

Bummer for sure. Hate it when that happens. Thanks for the heads up.

So here comes my final post bout this topic:
After adapting the seats to the side mounts and some improvising, the seats are finally in the car.
And I am actually quite happy: the seats look good and are reasonably comfortable.
So in hindsight: no regrets and I paid $600 for the cheapest knock off GT3 seats around
