Actually, 355's have climbed price . In some cases, a pristine one will encroach upon 360 prices .

several on craigslist around here for low to mid 40's.....why are their prices climbing? The performance on those is nowhere near the new Ferrari's.......

With the Ferraris, it's about age, significance and rarity, not performance.

355 is said to be more expensive to maintain than than it's newer replacement, according to net searches anyway.

One of the major downsides to the 355 is that in order to do the 3 year/15,000 mile cam belt service, the engine has to be completely removed .

would rather buy a 996 turbo with some techart body work , turn the boost up to 600 h.p. and smoke the doors off those late model ferraris.

aaaahhh yes...a 996 turbo, gives the eyes pleasure.

Are you interested in all those options on that Spyder if not I've been in this car, it is sweet: http://hendrick-porsche.ebizautos.com/webdetail.aspx?iid=8010746

They had a black one too that I like even more, but I think it sold.

Check out the notes and the reported cost of the engine out. I love the F355, and for $45k, it's right at the market average, but regular maintanence is half the value of the car!

Yea no ****************, my friend has a low mileage F355 convertible, paid $30k last summer for a known cracked header issue turned engine rebuild... he said that's the last Fcar he'll ever buy.

They're beautiful cars but they're like high-end escorts, you have to pay to play.

Another guy has a 430 and he claims it costs him $6 every km he drives, not including gas!!

Come on Craigslist ! Consider the source . Check out a reputable site like the The DuPont Registry, and you'll see well maintained coupes fetching into the 70k plus range, and spiders upwards of 100k .
