you think Porsche could update their website instead of letting you jerk yourself a soda for six hours configuring what doesn't exist?
Interesting. They are also selling the 997 and the 991 both as 2012 models side by side.

$90K is a lot of scratch... = 6-8 good used Boxsters, 1 lightly used 997 GT3, 2 used 996 GT3, 2 used 996 Turbos, 2 Porsche certified 987 Cayman S, 2 good used C6 corvettes.

A nice 987 S with stock motor, 200lbs removed and 5k in suspension would give any 987.2 Spyder a race with equivalent tires and drivers. A Boxster Spyder is a very nice car. Probably not a $90K car though.

Anybody seen the digits on the 2012 units or hear any lore? My dealer says you might be able to order one in May.

Check out the notes and the reported cost of the engine out. I love the F355, and for $45k, it's right at the market average, but regular maintanence is half the value of the car!

You can also talk to the inspector to get his impressions of the car and answer any particular questions that the report may not have addressed. The cost is around $250-$400.

Then you can use the report to decide whether to buy or not. I have decided not to buy several cars once I got the report. You can also use the report in your negotiations to justify why you're offering a lower price.
How did you pay for the cars and transfer title?

Yea no ****************, my friend has a low mileage F355 convertible, paid $30k last summer for a known cracked header issue turned engine rebuild... he said that's the last Fcar he'll ever buy.

They're beautiful cars but they're like high-end escorts, you have to pay to play.

Another guy has a 430 and he claims it costs him $6 every km he drives, not including gas!!
