Will do Thstone. My situation / motivation for the move is likely quite a bit different from most forum members;
-After having convertibles for over 25 years, I wanted a coupe for a pleasure vehicle. I'm getting to that age where I frankly feel like a "db" driving with the top down, especially in a Porsche.....just me.
-While I have done some racing and have participated in HPDE's in the past, that stuff doesn't interest me anymore, getting older I guess lol.
-I grew tired of watching the value of Boxsters drop like rocks, Hopefully the 993's will hold closer to my purchase price than the water cooled Porsches have, we'll see.
-Always wanted a 911, the 993 is IMO the best looking of the bunch to date. While I would of loved to get an "S" model with those incredibly sexy hips, I just couldn't bring myself to spend the kind of dollars the S's are currently commanding.
