Front Bumper

Does anybody out there know approx. how much it would cost to replace the front bumper? Mines is in bad shape with a bunch of deep scrates and light cracks. The price you pay for having a car in Manhattan!

I've contemplated this also....

as its one area of my car that has seen its share of rocks, etc....I have a bunch of chipped up spots all over the front bumper....From a distance you don't even know their there, but up close you can really see them.....Probably a good sanding, priming and repainting would make it look like new...

Your bumper is actually cracked thru? That might require a new one, but don't quote me.....I've seen front ends in the 800-1000 range if I'm not mistaken, and most of those were unpainted....Hopefully someone whos done this chimes in....I know LA Dismantlers usually carries these.....

I just got into an accident where the front fender got damaged and needs to be replaced.

I got a quote for $1200, with parts, painting & installation.

That's for a 987 bumper. My car was only 6 weeks old

Contact Sam at The Speed Gallery in Studio City, CA.

I had a 996 turbo bumper on my car buy couldn't take the daily scrapes, so he painted and installed a boxster s bumper on mine for like $500 or so...??? Whatever it was, it was not expensive. They're really cool over there...genuine porsche lovers who aren't out to rip you off like mad...

Talking

I would call Bumper Medic or someone like that before I sprung for a new bumper. I have had some severely beat up bumpers repaired quite nicely without having to replace the skin.
